Hi Meade. If I were MDIN, I would sue too ! After he posted, he realized that he had crossed line and then tried to erase it in his next post. SORRY, TOO LATE ! I would agree with you...but that wouldn't be like me, now would it!! I think this most appropriate!! Message 5164244 .....in fact I believe you were the "heralder of $6.00"!! What I disagree with the most, is companies enjoy there little "SI internet chat group" and as long as the information is positive, even if it is "bullsht" they say nothing. When the information is negative or bullsht they start screaming lawsuit. What this staggerlee person said was stupid and probably liabelous, however, as long as companies only intent on prosecuting when they think "certain words" hurts their stock, they will get little support from either the shareholders or the judges!! I think if this person wishes to go thru all of the previous posts he/she could find clear and blatant pumping of this stock, that the company chose to ignore!! A defence? I don't know I'm not a lawyer, but selective sampling of messages could be milked for a longtime!! Everytime you support this kind of intervention by a company you allow the government and the buearacracy an opportunity to impinge on free-speech! I realize free-speech does not include "stupid or libelous speak" but where do you or anyone else draw the line? So what is the answer! This is why I have been a vocal advocator of a closed SI forum for members only!! Then at least MDIN and the rest of the companies would have to pay their $100 like the rest of us, to get insulted!! But, if that were the case, than SI members "pumping a stock" would only be able to pump to members only! This would ruin their option of manipulating a stock price by the many "lurkers who are not SI members", now wouldn't it!!! Just another opinion, but something to think about!! the Chief
