Hi James, Your thanks will be passed on to Bob Norman at Newport Programs. He's not only one of the authors of the software, he's my landlord where I have my office! Bob usually reads the BB here, but don't know if he was on line today. Bob teaches me about computers and I teach him about investing!!

If you intend to use AIM for the existing part of your 401K, and can trade shares, at what price do the shares actually "trade" inside the 401K? Whatever that price is, that's the one you want to use for Newport. I can show you how to go in and edit the internal Newport files to get your costs set properly so the P&L looks correct.

401K's were not available to me when I was still working for a living, so don't know much about how the equities are priced.

Hope this helps,
Tom
