To all: I'm thinking about opening an account with Swifttrade Securities in Toronto. The minimum is $50,000 US. Does anyone have info on Swifttrade? Is the money in the account protected? The reason I ask is because daytrading is a very difficult business. I hear Swifttrade have presently about 50 traders signed up. I hate to say it but I would think that 1/2 of these traders won't make it. I've traded Canadian stocks for many years but I find there is not enough selection and liqidity. Hopefully with Swifttrade it will be better.
