With all the downgrades and the 25%-35% growth specified by management , I haven't seen any earnings/share revisions for '99 or 4Q'98 for that matter. Will this come out in a few days and hammer the stock again, the numbers have to change??

Ratlong,<< SAP has an installed base in 460 of the Fortune 500>>

When companies make a statement like this, it doesn't necessarily that all of these 460 companies have made a 100% commitment to SAP. If you have your software installed in a division of GM in Germany, eg., you can claim GM is an SAP customer. Yet GM could have 40 other divisions who don't have the SAP software.

I'm sure PSFT could make the claim that 460 of the Fortune 500 have selected PSFT.

There are many sectors where SAP has little or no market share, e.g. Financial Services, Higher Ed, Health Care, Service Related Industries, etc. SAP's strength has been in the companies that actually manufacture a product.

I think that's one of the reason that they are trying to unintegrate their products....
