Please read and comments:

I am from Houston, a market where both AT&T, SouthWestern Bell,
Worldcom and Sprint operates.
What makes me if i am an owner of a business building to move from those accounts to Winstar. I do not see anything Winstar
offers that I can not get from those companies now.

Lucent sells Winstar LU's products as a formed of a loan.
Other companies can also buy the same deals from Lucent
and cut the price,
thus kills Winstar.
With 8.5% interest and the telecom rate keep going down with fierce competition from these vendors.
I wonder if Winstar will survive ?
If Winstar wins, it should already won in its present market already, it kept burning a lot of money for 5 years now, I wonder if any more money left to burn.
This maybe a test bed that Lucent will use to sell products to other Winstar competitors.
