coffeeman1 - Re: FBN Fun and Games coffeeman1, Thanks for the PM. I've owned PINC since July, traded out once (profit) and bought back in, and I believe in the company's product.( Note: Always try to get back original investment on a High, then buy back in on a dip) Things have been busy here at the Cape. On Thursday we launched the PEGASUS, and Saturday morning we launched a Delta with the DEEP SPACE 1 Probe aboard. It uses ION Propulsion. Then this coming Thursday is John Glenn's Mission aboard Space Shuttle Discovery. There is not a Hotel/Motel or RV Site available on the Space Coast. The last time I saw this many people on the Space Coast was back in the 70's for an Apollo Moon Mission.. So when I made my humble reply to josef post #709, and the Bill Urich came back with :Can you name the one primary difference between the above company (FBN) and PINC? Because of our schedule at the Cape I have very little time to post on SI lately, and I only did 5 min of DD on FBN, though I was fooled into believing FBN may exist as a company, I was not fooled by it's product. FBN has not had a Press Release since April. They are over a year late with their IPO. FBN states they have a hardware fix for all computers Large and Small! ROTFLOL - I'm sure a company that is not even public would have resource$ to build 100's of types Circuit cards which fit in any computer. A software solution costs nothing to implement once the code is written, a hardware solution for every make of computer means lots of costs manufacturing of circuit cards, FABs, etc. I maybe busier than a squirrel that sleep though the summer, but the Gray matter between my ears still can figure out that a hardware solution for all computers by a startup Co. is ridiculous. I have a DEC/VAX Farm of 90 Series 3900, 4000, 6000, Mainframe Computers used for Launch Support of Titan, Atlas, Delta, Pegasus Rockets, and the Space Shuttle, plus a host of state-of the-art Networking and Communications and Timing Equipment that make most large ISP's look like Mickey Mouse. I spent 2 years posting on ADSL daily on the Amati thread, and when I saw the reference to FBN, that old since of Amati responsibility for truth within me, forced me to comment on the ridiculous aspect of hardware Solution for all computers. Many thanks to Robert Ague for explaining the FBN Hoax in post #736, a True Officer and F-15 Jet Jock Gentleman. If the PINC Thread intrusion by bashers becomes worse, I suggest that you compile a E-Mail Group of PINC supporters, so important information does not get lost in the sauce. Not everyone has the time to read 50 posts a day to find a diamond in the rough. I'm sure that there are a few FBNer's (bashers) out there, already contemplating a flame or two about having an E-Mail group of "just PINC Supporter's", like "with just Rah Rah's there is no balance" I've heard it all before so don't bother! coffeman - I read your post #722 in which you stated: It should be a matter of time before a major PC mag features PINC. I want that coin for the first post. Next months issues should be out before Oct 29th, so Good Luck. Regards, JW@KSC
