Very peculiar. Can you imagine the furor if some FTC/DOJ official stayed with the folks in Redmond? This whole thing is corrupt. In the end history will show that Big Blue has orchestrated this whole deal and that they have unleashed their dogs of war with Sun and NSCP as the hounds to DOJ. This is nothing but a naked attempt to arrest the progress of MSFT by political force rather than competing in the market place. MSFT outmaneuvered IBM and now IBM is attempting to regain the ground lost in a very cost efficient manner.
