Dawgfool, you should like shorts on stocks. It is short covering that allows the rapid rise after you bravely buy the liquidation sales. As new shorts come in on the "overbought" condition they sell when there is only buying pressure and buy again (bail) when buying pressure continues. Or buy when there is selling pressure, acting as a cushion to the price drops. Greg
