<taking forever to work out > CNBC is implying the light volume is due to the Yankee parade. A ridiculous thought, in my view but looking more closely at the intraday moving averages even the 200 MA on the 5 minute bars is flatlined right under the market. So, 81 ticks in a day that's going all the way back to Wednesday morning that really zippo is happening. Another thing factoring into my feeling that something has to rock soon. I recall seeing that in patterns a lot. Sort of a compression period before a spring flies. My bias is a northerly move barring external news.
