LOL!!! I really want to get you and V1 together over beers sometime and then just sit back and listen. I'm sure I'd be crying in my beer from laughing too hard. If you want to start a "Pimple on the Ass" thread, or maybe an "Asses Who Are Pimples" I'm sure it would be a service to investor and a hot thread on SI. Go for it!!!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: A BioEntrepreneurship Program (aka Club) is starting in the SF Bay Area sponsored by The MIT Club of Northern California.

The first meeting will be "What Do Venture Capitalists Look for in a Health Care Deal" featuring a VC panel including Beckie Robertson from Institutional Venture Partners, additional speakers to be announced.
This Program will focus on biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics and health care information technology. This is tentatively set for Tuesday evening, November 17, 1998. The time and place is not set in concrete yet, but it will probably be 7 or 7:30 PM. You do not have to be an MIT alumni to participate.

Other tentative topics: Bio-Entrepreneurship Veterans - War Stories Told by the Founders, Intellectual Property - Devising your company's IP Strategy, Corporate Partnering - How to do the Deal, How not to do the Deal, Wall Street Perspective on Biotech - How can you have a P/E, when there is no E?, and Marketing Strategy.

To have your email address placed on a list for additional information, contact:

Betsy O'Neill
Executive Director, BioEntrepreneurship Program
MITCNC

or

Threadsters, the BioEntrepreneur Club is looking for names of strictly biotech stock analysts to approach as potential speakers for the program, preferably ones from the SF Bay Area. Any ideas on who might be good to approach for this (or any analysts who lurk here who are interested speak up)??? Not only should they be good biotech analysts, but good public speakers too. Any suggestions are welcome. You can post them on the thread or to me by private email.

Thanks,

Rman
