Honestly I would not order the ValueLine CD. I haven't tried their product for quite some time, but given how volatile the prices are these days, I can't help but think that by the time you get the CD, most of the stocks that you will want to focus on will have moved. it might be useful for building a wish list, but honestly the stuff on the web you can get for free is just as nice as what I remember.

If you want to look at some other "screening" sites. Go to:

tradingday.com

They have a section titled Stock Screening.

Some of these are screens on technical basis and some are screens on fundamental basis. Pick and choose what suits you and you comfort level.

ICQ has some interesting sort criteria where you can look at 6 month moving average stocks and increased volume. These would not be "AIM" sorts of criteria IMO, but they might help in your timing.
