I think the post by Valueman about the faxing of the non disclosure agreement is responsible for todays move. The news if correct(It seems to be) is potent enough to move the stock to new highs.

I think Qcom's recent move is due to four things. First, general market recovery. Second, Ericy patent moves are being interpreted as weakness of Ericy's position vis a vis IPR both as to the lawsuit and 3G standards. Third, price was very attractive. Fourth, anticipation of earnings.

Somebody is accumulating shares!
