Hi Andrew,

Any idea why ASYT rose sharply despite almost doubling estimate of loss?

Maybe it's the cash on hand deal - they have about $7 per share on hand.

<I hope it goes Bankrupt>

Gee, I wonder who the low life was that would say stuff like that about stocks that you picked.

An offer from LS's thread. Message 6017584

Oh, by the way; I hope Cymer goes to zero. I need the writeoff.

You were wise not to get into this contest

I don't mind losing to the others but Winston really is a junkyard dog.

Andrew,

I may have missed the answer to this question. But I will ask anyhow...reguarding Cymer...I know some SEMI_MFG companies have been purchasing a laser here and there. I know the 193s steppers are being manufactured and I know there has been some repair and maintenance revenue. My view is limited to the Austin area and still it only gleans some of the information available to make an intelligent decision about the short term future of this company.

1, How big do you suppose the market is for Cymer right now?

2, Has Intel, MU, Samsung, or AMD been ramping up DUV 248nm?

3, Have the Stepper companies been taking some 193 orders which would require a laser or two or three?

4, Is the installed base large enough now to support some healthy revenue from the R&M group?

TIA Jeff...

AMD

I gather that this is the chip designed to compete with INTC's top of the line?

I have to start checking Notebook Computer prices every day. I hope there are some reductions soon.
