If someone wants to buy out ACMI rather than buy part or JV with them, I would think that a certain number of classes of investors would have to be satisfied. Sakura et al paid I believe $4.50 per share and some other earlier investors paid quite a bit more. Unless these investors think it is hopeless, they probably would not vote for a deal that was for less than their acquisition cost.

But $4.50 is a long way from where we are today so that creates a problem. On the other hand if the stock mysteriously rises to say $2.50 or $3 it would be easier to make such a deal.

Is it worth it to anyone? I don't know nor do I know how to assess.
After the micro deal is done and if the company allows us to know what the deal was, we will be able to calculate the book value and that might be a factor.
