Final bit of good news before the weekend starts. I just had a discussion with a friend who is very knowledgeable about the graphics industry and is respected by the analysts on Wall St. He told me that 3Dfx has indeed been selling Banshee to OEMs, though the anouncements are yet to come. And that depending on how the story unfolds, he will estimates that FY 99 revenues will be between $270 Mil. to $440 Mil. His best guess is revenues of $340 mil but with somewhat lower (though still healthy) margins. I trust him enough that I'm going to buy some more shares on Monday. Pat, do you care to plug in these numbers into various models we discussed and see what the earnings will be. My initial guesstimate is for EPS of $3, though R&D may chew it down to $2.40.
