PC World has just rated SB Live "Best Buy" for gamers PC World US Edition Nov 98. The only card to get EXCELLENT for MIDI playback, but .wav playback was not the best in all areas. Also, the review didn't use the LiveWare updated drivers for 512 voices and 32 DS3D streams. Only major problem seems to be price (the magazine used the US$200 price tag, but we all know that is really US$130 or so on the street). Diamond's Sonic Impact was Best Buy for business due to its low price of US$50 (well, this one will have to fight it out with SB Live Value now at US$80 or so). All in all, pretty encouraging stuff. I wonder what CREAF's going to show off at COMDEX?
