brees, religious tolerance is all to the good. But I get confused. I've been informed, here, that "secular humanism"/"liberalism" is a religion too, albeit a heinous and evil one. Sort of Satanism without Satan, I guess. Plenty of people here have no trouble expressing much more overt hatred and intolerance of that "religion" than any of my "inerrant" Bible mocking could possibly convey. If you wish tolerance for your (presumably) non-Christian religion, perhaps you might wish to pay closer attention to the level of tolerance expressed by many Christians here. I promise, your faith will never be subject to the kind of intolerance from my kind as you might expect if we become a "Christian Nation", as some Christians wish. Unfortunately, my mocking would no doubt get me the Salman Rushdie penalty elsewhere, but for the moment I'm safe here. I bid you peace.

It starts with education initiatives to tolerate, accept, condone, support, and celebrate the [homosexual] lifestyle. Omigod! You mean these big bad Commies actually aim to convince people to "tolerate, accept, condone, support, and celebrate" the lives of a significant portion of the population? How dare they want that! Call in the National Guard! What a terrifying threat to our national security! So, the logical follow up is indoctrinate children to accept, understand, support, encourage and that plans for a successful individual and society in general includes education, preparation and planning for such when they enter adulthood. Gosh darn it! You've uncovered the big bad Commies' plot to convert all of America's young people into homosexuals! AbdulHaq, No one can force someone else to be a homosexual. Why are so afraid of children accepting, understanding, and supporting homosexuals? Do you really believe a straight person would choose to become gay just because it was fashionable?
