The contagion is spreading! Sold some SFE early this morning. Will spend this weekend trying to figure out why it was a good sale now, but was not $15 points higher. Could be that now there is a lot less capital gains tax to pay. That is important. Truth be known, I was quite bearish on the market earlier in the summer, but did not think "they" would have the audacity to take my "good" stocks down with those overpriced "bad" stocks. Made the same mistake in '87 . One big difference, then Margin seemed like the perfect elixir. This time it wasn't [much] of a factor. The declines without margin were breathtaking enough. Now I just have to learn that it is OK to pay a few taxes. One of the criteria for resuming rights offerings was that previous offerings once again trade over $5.00. One by one that is happening. We could look back a couple of years hence and shake our heads in utter amazement that some of these stocks traded at the prices they did around Oct. 9. They were trading like... well options! This recent sale of SFE will be monitored and replaced soon. Good luck to shorts and longs, Democrats and Republicans, I hope you both win. You deserve it after the past two months. Mike

Right now, I am very committed to shorting this stock until it gets back in line with NAV.

However, given the fact that NAV has been beaten down mercilessly in the past 3 months, it's a dangerous situation since they could rise just as precipitously. I don't think they will, but that's the risk.

I'm with you, still short. I almost doubled it today, but held off.
