Thanks, Hiram. With our local stone-knives and bearskins cable offering (TCI bought them last year, but not much has changed), I have sat on the outskirts of the technology and still hack around with a 28.8 modem and an extra phone line (ISDN wont be available out of our CO until later next year). There is something interesting on the horizon - at least for by brother-in-law's area down in Dallas - a 10Mb wireless EN link via small dish. Only problem is you have to be line of sight to one of their towers. Wow. But for me, I'm too far from anything like that to make it realistic unless I want to cough up for a repeater site! Mr. K.
