Voodoo will recover. Anyway, it's his dad's money. Now about Asia. I didn't mean to imply Asia would make a difference anytime soon. But I've known the Asians. They will recover. They will get things right. But they need transparency in their process. That will be a big change. Let a few banks and corporations in Japan fail. We've had our share. They'll be stronger for it in the end.

As a business traveler, I've never liked it when foreign currencies get stronger against the dollar. Makes hotels and food more expensive. But if we can get the Japanese (and other Asian economies) to continue opening their markets to US goods, that would be a good thing.

What goes up, usually comes down, maybe even to voodoo's level. But I think voodoo will, indeed, not recover his short. Adaptec needs to drop 2 points for that. Could happen. But this is not the Adaptec we've seen most of this year. The silliness has passed. Stability has returned. Stability doesn't necessarily mean recovery. I don't particularly like anyone to be VERY unhappy, but I've had my unhappiness with Adaptec since January and wouldn't mind sharing some of it with those who bet against it.
