Michelle is RIGHT ON with her EDI call. The web is the next big arena for ERP software vendors. The first to successfully differentiate their product on the web, will reap substantial rewards. There are many on the thread who doubt the vision and the capability of Psft management, after what I deem as a misinterpreted conference call. I really don't want to get into a debate on mgt's intentions as far as the conference call.

However, IMHO those that question the competence and vision of the Psft mgt team will UNDOUBTEDLY get burned in the end. Although there are those that argue that the erratic performance of the stock since the spring is evidence enough to call into question the credibility of psft executives. I beg to differ. EXPECT psft mgt to create a new space, whether it be through innovation, or acquisition (my gut feeling). EXPECT psft management to execute, as they have in the past. EXPECT change in the ERP space with Psft leading the way. Competition is heating up, so someone's innovation has to come to the forefront. EXPECT that someone to be Psft.

I realize in light of recent performance, my latest post may seem a bit like rah-rah pep rally material. But Michelle has brought up a good point with EDI, as well as the others who have made the call for new innovation within the ERP space. It is my opinion that Psft mgt has seen these needs within the sector long before this collapse. Does anyone share my faith? Am I the only one that still has faith in Duffield's mgt team?
