Snipper, If Executive bought an already existing company, they would be paying close to face value for it. Why not start a new one from a shell as a BB stock, float some tid bits of news to catch a rally and ivestors attention, be late and mislead time frames for PR's, get investors frustrated, and buy into the sell off so as not to inflate the price too much, maybe a little manipulation (JMO) to keep price down, dry up the float. Then when good reports start to hit the news wires and the price goes thru the roof, their assets are worth a hell of alot more than if they had gone out and bought an already existing company.
