gc/Edwarda, I disagree with many here in that I see this as a slump for enterprise software similar to the disintegration of comm hw stocks in 1994. Eventually, the winners come back and trounced their prior highs. I think theres a lot to do with enterprise automation that the web has enabled and no one has even started on this yet. The question for me is, who are the long term winners and when will be a good time to buy in. I agree that there is more downside than upside in the near term.

BTW, if it werent for the web, we probably would be near the top for all these companies ala McCormick and Dodge, etc.

To the rest of the thread: PSFT will rise again, once a growth stock, now a value stock. The company, management and product are to good to discard.
