Jeff, you better get them to the orthodontist in the next 12 months.

Can IFMX continue to compete in the RDBMS technology war ORCL is waging with 8i? After 1/1/2000 when the project floodgates reopen and the new database checkboxes appear in the RFPs, will IFMX be able to check the boxes on the new features that will get weighted heavily?

At $400M in revenue how much can they pour into R&D? It is a losing proposition for them to continue to try and match features with companies spending more on R&D each year than they gross.

I think IFMX gets a short reprieve here and the benefit of their cost cutting measures and in about another 16 months the wars begin again with renewed vigor. I question the forward looking 18% growth rate projected in the table you reference in your post. The last 5 years -233% in the same chart is a trend that isn't likely to change in the long term.
