Bernie,

I was using $1k in each of 10 stocks at $12 / trade. You are correct about the liquidation aspect. It is silly to sell a stock only to turn around and buy it later the same day as one of these UIT's are liquidated and you roll over into another one.

Hi Bernie, That's an interesting point about mutual fund costs vs do it yourself. The tax consequences I'd never thought of relative to the "managed" vs DIY method. Thanks.
