Eric: I've been looking for "Making It In The Market" and "The Wall Street Gang" but have been unable to find them I have a link somewhere for a site where you can find Ney's books if I find it I will post you with it. There is a Ney Thread on SI, however it is fairly slow, but I know a couple of months ago someone left a link to a site where you can obtain Ney's books. However, you may have to look through a few posts.Subject 17753 In addition, you might also call Richard Ney's office in Southern California at 626-441-2222.If I may, which book provided you with the most info/insight towards indicator creation? I use to subscribe to Ney's newsletter and also tried to catch his (at the time) regular appearances on the LA Business Channel, I believe it is/was KWHY! As for my own understanding of Technical Analysis, I have accumulated what little knowledge I have over many years and from a variety of sources, not one in particular. One of the best sources that helped me learn to create formulas, was a program and the accompanying literature for a companion program I purchased to use in conjunction with RTR Software's Dow Jones Market Analyzer Plus. The companion program was RTR's Technifilter Plus. Not only was the literature good, but the Dos based program was great. It allowed you to do just about anything you wanted to when writing base formulae. Then you could do extensive back testing and optimizing at the same time. In addition, all the provided indicators formulas where also listed in their raw math form so one could have an understand of them and alter them if desired. This is a very knowledgeable thread and if you are looking for a source book for technical analysis, I am sure others on this thread will be a much better source for that, than I. Trust I helped a little. Regards, LG
