Hello Jane,

Interesting thoughts about the Jesus Freak Movement. Honestly, it was a bit before my time and I know little about it besides a couple of things I've learned from you.

I know what you mean about having the worship leader turn the worship into a rock concert. I personally think the worship leaders I've had over the last couple of years have been pretty good at trying to lead WORSHIP as opposed to rock out. The church/denomination I've attended for a while probably has more problems in this area than most as it is known for its worship music. I've been to a few smaller churches in this denomination where the band players would only come to church when they were actually playing on stage that day due to the rotation of bands.

Overall though, I kind of like having a guitar or two up on stage so that I can figure out how the song is supposed to be played as opposed to how my neighbor is singing!<gggg> I don't think I've ever done totally acoustic worship, but it sounds like it would definitely be WORSHIP!!!

God bless all,

Grant
