My hunch is that the secondary is still on. Looks to me like they want to get the price up to about $25 to get coverage by analysts that look for a market cap of $250MM before they will touch it. So Farrell has gone out on a limb more than usual to accomplish this.

All just a hunch.....I have no special information for sure.

The shorts are counting on the secondary. But IMO the secondary won't happen unless the price gets back up to $25. Who will win this game?

RE the short position: I agree with you, Brian, that the increase is likely due to suspicions that results would be less than expected. In addition, I suspect shorters saw 2 other things going for them: a consistent pattern of post-earnings selloffs all year, regardless of results, and very difficult prior year earnings comparisions for Q4 and Q1. Put together, these factors, especially prior to BF's CC last week, could easily account for the increase in short interest.

At this point, I see it as one more near-mid term bullish factor.
