Anyone who thinks internet mania is over should look at EBAY. One analyst recommendation along with a rosy "100 dollar target" from the same guy, and the stock goes from 50 to 70 in 3 hours.

This morning they were discussing internut stocks on CNBC, and one of the anchors asked if EBAY sold beanie babies. The response was yes, and then Joe Kernan (i think?) muttered something about tulips under his breath.

BTW- AOL will have a 2:1 split tomorrow. That however, is just a hunch on my part. I'm long AOL through calls as well.

Ya know, I feel like I need to take a shower every time I go long in one of these manipulated internut stocks.. But I sleep better, and I'm certainly making more cash.

>>I'm not long eBay. Stayed away because of the Yahoo/Onsale deal.

I'm not so sure William...

EBAY stock action reminds me of AMZN when it launched from 40 to 120. Even "Meeker issued a bullish research report on the stock."

Are you long RMBS as well ? Its showing a lot of strength. Whats your view of the semi equipment stocks like AMAT, NVLS etc ? The
earnings outlook is very bleak yet AMAT, NVLS, ASMLF, PRIA etc have
rallied rather strongly. Wonder if it is worthwhile accumulating these stocks yet ?

Thanks
