Because they have for quite a while. They don't seem to be a newly formed acquisitions machine that will supposedly bring a bunch of really bad companies together to somehow magically turn them all around and make a really good one. They seem to have been going along just fine with their individual businesses and now have decided to take advantage of the potential interrelationships between several of the businesses in starting this new venture. That doesn't mean they won't overextend themselves, as many do, but with this one, it seems like they're building a fancy addition onto a somewhat dull but solid house, rather than adding another layer to a house of cards. I don't know anything about MGMA. Should I?
