I used to have some luck with MACD but it was not consistent. I've been looking at at SYSTEM X9, which is 86% accurate in Test. I hate the idea of trying a system again, but next time I do I have to try #9. Once it goes short I shall just sell it and give it 2 tries like I did with X6. Until then I am just going to continue my older routine which does not appear to be working for me these days. X9 is a long ways from a sell signal by the way. It's a good thing I'm not concerned about Day trading too much. X9 looks like a killer if it works out.....Average gain is 37.07 points per trade. Been watching it since late July. Scary is the losses. 41.67. I have to work that part of it somehow.
