Rainmaker, The Big$ question is whether PAIR can market its DSLAM/concentrator product (Avidia) correctly. All the indications that I have - this was one thing missing from their product line. IMO it may have even held back the DSL deployment at USWest etc. But this may be a killer product if the product sheet is to be beleived - pairgain.com I am absolutely impressed by their density etc. and with volume shipment in Dec '98. This product will add a bundle to PAIRs bottomline. But the devil is in the details - there are a lot of vendors with half-cooked DSLAM/concentrator products, PAIR will have to get at least one solid referral account. I think this product was a long time coming - but with proper positioning it can position PAIR to explode and become a wall street darling again.
