>> CREAF is suggesting Banshee and V2 over TNT for games!<<

Gee, not a Banshee and two V2 SLI? How will they ever make money just selling two cards instead of one :^) They should try to sell at least 3 cards.

ST

P.S. I'm happy that CREAF is pushing the cards, but I find their motives less than bohemian.

Jeff, that's not in the ad I'm looking at. In the latest Creative ad, they have the following quotes:

Concerning the 3D Blaster Banshee:
========================

"3D Blaster Banshee explodes with rocket-fast 2D performance, startling 3D frame rates, and break-neck video acceleration with an absolutely out-of-this-world price."

"With DirectX, Glide, and 3Dfx OpenGL drivers, tuned for compatibility with the widest range of applications and games, this affordable, easy-to-install graphics accelerator is a must for every PC. It's a gamer's dream come true, that doesn't break the bank!"

"...Boosts your PCs performance and provides compatibility with the widest range of applications and games in a single, cost effective upgrade."

Concerning the Graphics Blaster RIVA TNT:
===============================

"Graphics Blaster RIVA TNT delivers blood-curdling performance. It's packed with workstation power whether you're a hard-core gamer or a hot-shot 3D designer."

"When you need to work with incredible precision and play games with liquid-smooth speed, Graphics Blaster Riva TNT is what you've been waiting for."

"...Perfect platform for the power-user, gamer or graphics designer."

=================================

OK, at the very end of the multi-page Creative ad, they have a price chart with some "bullet points" (which are so small I didn't notice them at first). The Banshee is rated "Best Suited" for Games, while the TNT is rated "Good Choice". (Those are the only two rating choices BTW)

Both cards are rated "Good Choice" in the "Movies" category and "Best Suited" in the "Work & Learn" category (whatever that is).
