Bandwidth explosion imminent. I've recently taken a keen interest in the state of the telecom business, and it's clear to me that within a few years (between 2 and 5), there will be more than enough bandwidth available to support amazing things over the internet, including - don't laugh - the consumer network computer in all its manifestations - which can provide a huge potential market for ODI.

If you look at emerging telcos like Qwest (QWST) and Level 3 (LVLT), you can see the beginnings of Moore's Law kicking in for networking technology and bandwidth.

I know I've been somewhat less than enthusiastic about ODI's prospects lately, but I've also always believed that cheap bandwidth will cause the market for Object Oriented applications to mushroom. To what extent ODI will benefit...we'll see. But I'm hanging on to my shares for now.

WOuld appreciate others' perspectives, especially contrary ones. This board seems a bit too rosy at times.
