RE: Question about SCSI and USB SparQ Pricing.

Does anyone else feel like SyQuest's pricing on SCSI and USB SparQ drives is going to be ineffective?

For the mass consumers who are looking for cheap storage, Zip at $100/$10 is much more attractive than SparQ at $250/$35. For the power users who are looking for fast, reliable, large storage, Jaz2 (or even SyJet) are better choices.

I think their original decision to focus on Parallel and IDE was a good one.

>>>Howard is a wise man. I'm sure he didn't forget about the Series 7 and other preferred shares. He probably meant common shareholders wouldn't get more than a few cents per share. <<<

FWIW, It was a weak attempt at humor on my part. I was implying that the "few cents per share" estimate might be too high (due to not considering the Series 7). Seriously, I'm certain Howard is well aware of the preferred.
