Toy,

I'm no technician, but yesterday's accumulation of NOVL stock within a very narrow range was an extremely bullish indication of what's to come. As you're seeing this morning, others are catching onto what's happening with the company Novell. Volume has swelled to almost 2.5 million shares in the first hour of trading. I'm sure technicians are calling this a significant volume and price breakout into new highs. But as you know, us early birds are approaching a double in the stock just as the new birds come into the corn field to feed. It appears NOVL has entered into Stage 2 of a typical 3-stage price ascent following TA type models IMHO. Stage I, $7 - 13, Stage II, $13-20, and Stage III, $20-28+ ??? Just my own personal projections, of course with no time table on if/how stage II and III will unfold.

Regards,

QuadK

<<Could NOVL be heading toward yet another consecutive 52-week high?
I am liking my spring prediction more an more each day.>>

And I am liking the below, a first-tier OEM contradicting the dubious press release of a few days ago. Never thought I'd live to see this. Novell didn't issue a counter-response themselves, THEY MADE DELL DO IT FOR THEM. This is a watershed event.

Dell sees no pullback from Novell software

NEW YORK, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Dell Computer Corp., the leading direct distributor of personal computers, on Tuesday said it has replaced Novell Inc. (Nasdaq:NOVL - news) network software in one area of its operations but has no plans to pullback from general use of the software throughout its organization.

Dell, based in Round Rock, Texas, was responding to a press release issued by Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) last week which said Dell had replaced 225 servers using Novell NetWare software with 25 running Microsoft's Windows NT server operating system.

''We changed out some servers in one environment, but we're not at all pulling back from our use of NetWare,'' a company spokesman said.
Dell's changeover to Microsoft software took place at its Austin operations on servers controlling basic office computing, and came as part of efforts by Dell to bring older operating systems up to Year 2000 compliance.

Year 2000 or ''Y2K'' compliance refers to getting rid of the Millennium Bug, a potentially-serious flaw in existing computers whose outdated software prevents them from distinguishing between the year 2000 and 1900, and thus the 20th and 21st centuries.

Dell's Austin facilities employ around half of the company's 20,000 worldwide workforce. Dell said it holds a license to use Novell NetWare software on 25,000 computers and the operating system continues to play a critical role in manufacturing and other areas of the company.

Dell officials declined to comment on how many of its servers or other devices Novell NetWare actually was operating on. Provo, Utah-based Novell, a leading corporate networking software firm, has seen NetWare lose market ground to Microsoft's NT operating system. Both systems helps weave desktop PCs into corporate networks.
