<sorry I wasn't clear on what AD A/D or A-D to use>

It does not matter. I have already decided to switch back to my own system anyway.

<USE the A-D line (subtraction) , then scale it to your liking.>

I guess you do this on Ensign, I use Vista which is limited in how one sets up STO, I think.

Perhaps I'll try it on the Mac but there isn't much room. Also, I don't know if this new software on the Mac will do the math...the A minus the D.

I guess I'm always a sucker for another train of thought. That's what got me on a losing streak with that ill-fated system last week.

I'll mess around with Vista first, then try the Mac program if I get no where.

Just missed the edit window on this
~~~
EDIT No, it cannot be done on Vista because the indicator used for STO has been altered to be used a %R. VIsta allows me to use one or the other.
It's also limited in that it only allows 3 MAs, so I have those set up for intraday charts. For example, I had to glance at the Mac to see the 200 dMA you spoke of in the other post to Beebs.
No dice on the implementation of the A-D indicator.
The software requires it to be a custom instrument and so has no data prior to yesterday.
Um, I guess I could import it.
Anyway, using the Fast Sto I should apply a 5 or 7 day period. Okee Doke. Yet another indicator. I'll check back if/when I finally get something out of it. If I cannot import the data then it shall be awhile until the software compiles enough.
I may have to buy another monitor for all this stuff.
