Whoa big Dave? I was expecting the closer with the sales pitch and got a retrenchment.

I was listening. I'm open to adding REALLY worthy projects to the 1999 IT project slate. And I'll go to bat with the President. I do like software. It keeps me employed. Don't give up so easily.

Keep role playing with me here.

So I can do it in how much time?
And what will the SW and human costs be?
Still waiting for some tangible measure of payback tho. In recessionary times, payback, payback, payback - dollar for dollar is the only thing that I can sell the President on. If it doesn't add to the bottom line THIS YEAR we also better be darn sure that the opposite isn't true as well, that there is NO sales force disruption while they answer all the RFPs and hold the clients hands on all these new inquiries we got lately. The sales cycle for our stuff sure seems to be lengthening. Remember what happened to MANU when their reps took their eyes off the ball for an instant in Q1/2.

You're doing ok on the sale, but I'm not ready to sign yet.
