Hello Sonki. I had an ear on the TV occasionally. I guess you know in the meantime what happened. I think shorts could not stand it that the market was going up. There were rumors everywhere. The Brazilien President is calling for budget cuts and tax hikes but I think devaluation has been denied by their FED. All this is very interesting. I did not graduate in economy, just studied it for a while, but I still think that tax hikes will not bode well in all that. And as far as the value of the Brazilien money is concerned, I will refrain from commenting on that since I bought sev. hundred shares of TBR today at 75. gg. So, if you are still in TBR, you now have company. I will not take credit on the upside or downside though. gg. I am hoping that our markets will keep going up and will spill over to Brazil with that new IMF money going there. Some analyst's are now calling for 9300 by the end of the year and Abby Cohen therefore has now company also. Some actually are calling for 10000 by Spring. After that, who knows. I guess we will see when we get there. I have been working on my mouse and had my cpt off most of the day. It's still not working. I am still working with this piece of junk that makes it very hard to navigate. I may need to get help with installation. My cpt will not recognize my keyboard when I try to use the new mouse. I guess I'll better stop whining about my cpt problem. gg. Anyhow, I did not check what AOL did in after hours market. Oh, wait, I did hear that it traded at 123 after the halt was lifted. But AOL had a great report especially when you consider that they have to use different accounting practices. I was hoping for a 3 for 1 split though. I think that Steve Case will be on Business Center tomorrow night at 7 pm EST. with Maria B. If I have this wrong, I will post it sometime in the morning. I will check my tape later on. Last I heard, Ebay was down over 3. I think there was some confusion about the earnings orig. We should buy IBM before it splits again. Sonny I just found this article on AOL. The company is right in my back yard. I don't know why I never went into it. Well, maybe I do. I was going to use it as my ISP at one time and then they ran into all this trouble. And then I used them in Seattle for a cpl of months and was continually reminded that I was going to be cut off unless I was clicking onto this button. gg. I was a guest on my step-daughters internet. But I guess AOL has come a long way since then.dailynews.yahoo.com
