As I've said here before, I think we pay too much in federal taxes for what we get. But I don't think taxes per se are a violation. They're a part of civic life. The out and out bribery that poses for political campaigning in this country, the pork barrel spending, the rotting schools and inner cities, are shameful scandals both parties can take credit for.
