Michelle - how do ratings of TV shows affect what you watch? How do the RR "police" the art world? Is there art that you are unable to see?

Your use of the term "destructive" is interesting; I'm trying to balance the idea that either party is more or less destructive than the other. A couple of things come to mind: Is allowing the NEA, through a beholden Democratic party, to squander our money and the education of millions of children over the years, perhaps more destructive than say, speaking out against "gangsta rap" and the incredibly demeaning message about women it drums into the minds of young men?

Hmm. I really wonder which of those has a more positive impact on our society.

Mr. K.

My definition of force is to coerce against will. Taxes are forced on us. Higher taxes are favored by democrats. To me it's just more force.

Republicans and religious people urge and encourage, with no obligation to obey. You can watch whatever TV show you wish, regardless of what Jesse Helms thinks. You can view any "art" you wish, even if Pat Robertson says it's obscene.

Democrats control you by stealing your money, bribing constituencies for votes, regulating you to death, and restricting what you eat, drink or smoke. They think they know how to spend your money better than you do. They destroy schools and job competence with laws that discourage achievement. They are an evil force.
