Ron, The article clearly shows that many manufacturers are developing wireless data products. I was a little surprised when Akerson mentioned at the May 1998 annual meeting that, to his knowledge, Nextel was the only one he knew of developing a data product OF SOME CERTAIN TYPE. I didn't know, and still don't know, how to interpret his statement in light of the known state of development by other manufacturers then, as reiterated in the article. Some other readers may want to modify my understanding of what Akerson stated at the annual meeting. Rob
