Wily, As I mentioned, MBT says the problem is at Townsend. I do have a 56k dialup connection, however. It connects at 46kps usually. I do have L2 open on Dell all the time but I don't use too much else. A quote chart with thirty stocks (bid/ask, last) and a small chart with indices. I have a P2 400 cpu and 128 megs of ram so that's not the problem. I have considered ISDN but have been told that this will not solve the problem. Are you getting stoppages with RT3? Rick
