Hi Kathy, I'm using the following settings in Newport for my TWCUX IRA account:

Buy Resistance (SAFE) - 0.0%
Sell Resistance - 8.0%
Min. Trade Size is about 3% of the Equity value in either shares or dollars. Try entering those values in the "What If" window and see what would happen to your trade range.

Three of the four trades were very close together in price. They ranged from $27.85 to $28.37. The sum total of those three trades used up 41% of my peak Cash Reserve. (it was at 33% mid-summer and now stands at 20% of total value)

Have you used "vealies" before to limit your cash build-up? If not, you may want to read about them on the "Dictionary" page:

They really help with mutual fund management.

We've noticed a reduced decibel level in our household as well since #1 Daughter headed for college! Gosh, if I hadn't been such a slow learner, maybe we'd be empty-nesters by now! My youngest is in 6th grade, so there's a bit of time before that occurs!

Best regards, Tom
