A generic question, but one that has been bothering me. I notice that Adaptec, particularly, often makes big moves overnight (usually down!). How are these set? Do the MMs look at orders and sales that come in overnight and set a new opening? Who is actually setting these prices? (A good question anyhow on a Nasdaq stock!) I understand stock evaluation and finance pretty well, but I guess I don't understand the mechanics of the market well enough. Any advice on where to get more info on it?
