purething: I think that one way to help clean up the internet is to simply require that anon-a-mouse posting is not allowed.
This can be accomplished by putting the onus on the chat boards.

Newspapers (to my understanding) will not publish a letter to the editor unless the sender identifies themselves.

Why should the chat boards be different?

I believe that people will think twice about posting false or misleading info if they know that they can be identified.

P>S>Just a suggestion, I know TLC has a lot of influence with the government so maybe he can get this idea passed in congress. LOL LOL LOL

P>P>S>..before anyone jumps on my "anon-a-mouse" handle, look at my profile, my real name is there, and I even have a photo of me in one of the links.
I don't think I am "hiding" from anyone.
(of course with that photo, maybe I should..LOL LOL)
