Was the idea behind the reverse split to help force out shorts (if any) and to create more volatility by decreasing the float?
The NASDAQ goal would be a more realistic one as a result?

I think that was one reason for it. In the near term, the company is clear that selling PMA is the foremost goal. If they sell the product lots of things will follow.

Due to the stock price decline, the company needed more than the authorized number of shares to purchase the companies they agreed to in Feb. and March (from what I understand) whick made the reverse split necessary. It has also reduced the float to a very reasonable level. Somewhere around 2 million (I think).
