MCI Worldcom Inc Rated New 'Buy' at Spencer Clarke

Princeton, New Jersey, Oct. 29 (Bloomberg Data) -- MCI Worldcom Inc. (WCOM US) was rated new "buy" by analyst Stewart Kalter at Spencer Clarke LP. The 12- to 18-month target price is $80 per share.

Mazman, I don't recall whether they excluded the press in their last earnings conference call (most conference calls excluded ordinary investors anyway), but I gather that media interest in MCI WorldCom is so great that it's impractical to let everybody join the cc. Almost every brokerage covers WCOM, so even if the cc is limited to analysts, it must be a pretty busy session. Sometime ago I read that another company (can't remember which one, it may be Nortel) held 2 conference calls, one for analysts and one for the media.
