Ed,

<<Just because Tailwind hasn't sold their conversion or shorted Ancor is not all good news. It means that they now have a few million shares that at some point needs to be absorbed into the market whenever they decide to sell. Sooner rather then later? Who knows.>>

I'm willing to believe that Tail Wind was honest when they said they have never shorted ANCR. If this is true, I think it is very unlikely that they have a few million shares in a strong box. The naked long would be very risky (certainly nothing that any of us would do).

Reading between the lines and accepting everything at face value, I think that Tail Wind has sold long everything they have converted, and they were converting at the maximum rate at last report.

Converting alone does not raise capital. If they haven't sold short they have sold long.

Greg

This is something that concerns me too. If we assume that Tailwind and one of the other Reg D guys haven't sold, then those shares will eventually be sold into the market. Unfortunately, that will limit the upside potential somewhat. It all depends on how explosive this Fibre Channel market turns out to be.
