Money is flowing into the stock at a high rate. More signs that the short pressure is dropping. Crossing 50 Day average with 200 day average in sight. Is all this volume your purchases ST?

OT -- Take a look at VISX. I've like this stock for some time now and even though all the normal technicals point to a down trend, my gut tells me that we've saw the bottom yesterday (why didn't I buy it then. I had that "buy" feeling then too) and is a buy tomorrow. I'm all ears to be talked out of this, in case my emotions are wrong. In fact please completely ignore what I just said. On purely technical basis, would you buy this tomorrow with the intention of holding for while, or not.

Thanks,
Sun Tzu

In my mind, day to day movements are meaningless(unless they're a result of some basic change in the company). Not too long ago the stock was much higher. It often changes at a rate of $1 a day. While I may note that there's less posts recently as the price went up (although a bunch more posters showed up today - then again we'll probably attract creaf, gtw, stbi, and dimd investors), I'm a fundemental analyst and don't beleive in technical trading.

Let this be a lesson for all the fortune tellers, micro-analyzers, and amature strategists (with a 1 week window). Yesterday and the day before there were many nay sayers who recommended sale of TDFX either becuase it has moved up too much, or because the poison pill would kill it and CREAF (who would have been too stupid to plan a hostile take over) would prove to be the biggest idiot by dumping all their shares and costing us (along with themself) a lot of money.

Well it did not happen. So face the reality. When your thinking leads to the wrong results, then the logical thing to do is to change the way you think. And please take responsibility for all the wrong results. Saying things like "well the whole market is strong so the stock went up with it" or "if it was not for short covering or CREAF buying or ... pushing the stock higher, I would have been right", is tantemount to saying I did not think the whole thing through and did not consider all the market participants, but I'm unwilling to take the responsibility and learn from the experience. Hell, if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle!

P.S. I know no one here on SI said those things. This is a message for other readers.
